A creative at heart, Erica left medical billing behind to pursue her true calling, graphic design. Returning to college for her art degree wasn’t easy as a single mother, but she was determined to be the best in her class. She took four internships to develop a breadth of experience that ranges from illustration to graphic design. Erica utilizes her award-winning design skills to help businesses communicate their mission. For her, design is a problem-solving tool which is why she’s inspired by transforming ideas into visual solutions. She’s particularly passionate about logo and brand design and layout development that fuses art with typography. She’s a self-proclaimed typography geek!
When she’s not creating for Swell’s clients, Erica is practicing art. She works mainly in watercolor and is experimenting with the size and material of her painting surface. Her subjects actively explore themes of self-love, body acceptance, and the social perils of comparison.
When Erica is not creating, designing, or painting, you can find her playing board games with her family, buried in a book, or snuggled up with her dog, Freyja, rewatching episodes of “The Office.”
